PAINTS -
COLORS:
The paints are professional grade watercolors.
Occasionally a gouache white is used for opacity and brilliance.
Winsor Newton is the preferred brand of paints.
Watercolor pencils of professional quality are used for accents.

PAPER:
The paper used is almost always D'Arches cold pressed 100% cotton rag.
Occasionally another paper is used for variety in size or texture.
SIZES:
the most frequent size used is the full sheet of watercolor paper 22 by 30
inches.
that size is also used in half and quarter formats.
D'Arches watercolor roll 42" inches is used in varying lengths.
From 1985 - 2004 all the paintings had to meet airline and international postal
regulations.
The sizes mentioned were always transportable.

SERIES:
A series is a painting on several sheets of paper.
It must be hung and viewed in a specific manner.

GROUPS:
A group of paintings will share similar ideas and imagery.
They can be hung separately and sold individually.
